The third app in this series concentrates on combining consonants to make some common blends. It is aimed at children who are comfortable reading and forming CVC words. Recognising and forming blends is the next step towards literacy. This app focusses on beginning blends such as the 'bl' at the start of blue and the 'cr' at the start of crayon. As always, there are several mini games to introduce, repeat and review each of the blends.
